  Good selection and laid back atmosphere.  The sandwiches are always good and fresh and I love their beef jerky.

  How did it take me 18 years to discover my local Lunardi especially since we pass by it at least once a week on the way to the library.  I am trying to make up for it now as I have been 4 times already, with 3 just in the last month.  Although you can get sandwiches piled high with their different deli meats including ham, turkey, roast beef, pastrami, and/or salami or a combo of all, it is that Tuesday steak sandwich special that keeps calling me back and I keep answering.  Lunch specials come with a drink and a choice of mac or potato salad or chips that are so popular, you might want to call your order in beforehand if you are short on time.  
  
  The other side of the store is a meat market where you can get makings for a BBQ like reasonable vacuum sealed rib eye packages, steaks, chops, hot dogs, burgers, and even fish, etc..  For those looking for something more exotic, it looks like they even have whole rabbits and cubed goat by pound.  For now, I will just stick with those boneless rib eyes.

  Excellent meats. Fresh and cut right. Around the same price as most grocery stores. The ladies are polite and really helpful. Will be buying my meat products from there from now on.

  I wasn't going to do it! I promise you I wasn't....but that BBQ steak sandwich made me do it! Why you had to do that to me, Lunardi? Your sandwiches keep me running back with my mouth like "Aahhh".
  
  **KNOWN AS THE BAY AREA'S BEST (AND DELICIOUS) SANDWICHES!**
  
  Lunardi's is a family-owned business that has been in establishment for a very long time.  This place serves some fantastic and delicious sandwiches here; they are to die for! Makes you just say, "Wow"! Every visit to Al Lunardi has been wonderful! All the employees are pleasant and sweet, they just love pleasing their customers. They also have a daily special; that steak sandwich is the SHiT! The daily special includes a sandwich, option of potato salad and soda.
  The meat here is always fresh! Al Lunardi and Sons serve nothing but top quality meat! This is the only place I come to buy my meat packages!
  
  They offer meat packages with a free item (you can mix out for one of the items, which is nice!) After you purchasing 3 package deals you will qualify for 2-free deli sandwiches or BBQ meals. BBQ lunch Monday-Friday 11AM-3PM.
  
  Lunch Deals include:
  Monday: Chicken, Salad, Sandwich
  Tuesday: Chicken, steak, Hot Link or Linguisa Sandwich, chips or macaroni or potato salad and a drink
  Wednesday: Beef-Tip sandwich, Tri-Top Sandwich, chips, a drink
  Thursday: Giant Cheeseburger, chips and drink
  Friday: Giant Hot Dog, or BBQ Pork, chips and drink.
  
  For meat packages, they serve everything from pork chops, chicken, shrimp, ribeye's, and steak. If you think it, they have it!
  
  My only con is that they close so early! I would love some of those delicious sandwiches for dinner, but I don't get off work in time. I try to catch this place on a lovely Saturday morning (P.S.-They close earlier on the weekends).
  
  There is no parking at this location. I usually park in front of the gas station and walk across the street. The lack of parking can also be a hassle, but the sandwiches are totally worth it.
